Altitude — 3,600m above sea level.
• Altitude sickness — headaches, fatigue, nausea, shortness of breath — is common in the first 24–48 hours. Rest on arrival, stay hydrated, eat light, and avoid alcohol initially. Oxygen tanks are available on-site. Reception staff can direct you to the nearest pharmacy. Guests with pre-existing conditions must consult a physician before traveling to La Paz.

Third floor — no elevator, stairs required.
• Please consider this before booking, especially if anyone in your group has mobility limitations or is arriving with heavy luggage.

WiFi drops occasionally.
• Reliable for general use — occasional drops are normal throughout Bolivia and outside our control. Best and most stable signal at Restaurant Kenti directly downstairs. If your work requires a dedicated stable connection, plan to use the restaurant during working hours.

Good to know:
• No A/C — Calacoto is mild year-round; cool nights, comfortable days. Radiant heating and warm blankets provided. Open windows for ventilation on warmer days. Portable fan on request.
• Hot water — works well under normal use; may fluctuate after back-to-back showers. Allow a few minutes to reheat.
• Noise — multi-unit property with shared garden and common areas. Occasional weekend events in the garden may produce noise. Quiet hours 10 PM–8 AM strictly observed.
• Road blockades — can affect airport access and city movement without warning. Monitor conditions early and adjust plans ahead of time. Non-refundable bookings are final.
• Parking — covered and uncovered spots in the secured gated garage; uncovered fits large vehicles. Ask reception to open the gate. Valet-style service available — hand keys to reception staff. $10 per stay, limited, request in advance. Street parking is paid and momentary only.
• Security — one of the most secure short-term rental addresses in Zona Sur. 24/7 staffed reception, gated garage, exterior cameras, and noise monitoring in common areas (decibel only — no audio or video).
• Cleaning — one professional cleaning before arrival and after checkout. Issues must be reported on arrival day with photos — resolved within 24 hours. Issues raised after Day 1 may not be eligible for compensation.
• Check-in and checkout times are strictly enforced. Early and late access available for a fee with advance notice. Free luggage storage available at reception before check-in and after checkout.
